The Mock Interview Program allows prospective job candidates to practice their interviewing skills in a simulated interview environment. Mock interviews provide constructive feedback to the participants to enhance job prospects by improving interview skills.
To Schedule a Mock Interview
Mock interviews can be arranged by making an appointment with the Center for Career Development. We are located in room L211, which is on the 2nd Floor of the Garrison Activity Center, or by calling (870) 230-5442. Mock interviews take 15-30 minutes to complete and interviewees should dress professionally. The mock interview can be videotaped upon request. This provides an opportunity to "see and hear" how you come across in an interview situation. You can bring your own videotape if you wish to keep it for subsequent viewing.
Preparing and Dressing for the Mock Interview
The key to a successful interview is preparation. Dressing professionally is also an important part of the interview process and is a factor in the hiring decision. As a result, Mock Interview participants should dress in business attire for the interview. Feedback will be provided regarding the appropriateness of the attire.
