The Office of Assessment aids
academic and administrative departments in conducting program reviews,
strategic planning, surveys, performance measurement and evaluation. Through
continual evaluation, the department helps Henderson best serve the needs of
its students and constituents.
Professor Emeritus Dr. Dee White taught in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation from 1963 until her retirement in 1994. White has been recognized by the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame for her participation in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She continues to work to encourage girls to be active in sports. Her work and legacy have been recognized by a number of people, groups and organizations.
