Discount Policy
ASBTDC Staff
ASBDC staff may attend any ASBDC training event at no charge unless the ASBDC is cosponsoring the event with another group in which that group will be retaining all fees and responsible for all costs of the event.
HSU Staff
Any HSU faculty, staff and student can attend any HSU SBTDC training program free of charge, provided space is available. It is important for small business to have the first shot at attendance at any of our training programs; thus, HSU participants will be taken via waiting list and will be informed one day prior to the program of their acceptance into the training program without a fee.
Any HSU faculty or staff member can pay the normal fee for a training program and guarantee a spot in that training program.
Student Workers
Any student who works for the HSU SBTDC via Graduate Assistantship, Independent Study, or Work-Study can attend any HSU SBTDC training program free of charge. Only one discount can be applied to seminars. In fact, we encourage them to do so to provide professional development for our student employees.
The Center Director or Training Coordinator must approve any and all other discounted or free seminar training fees.
