The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) is part of a national network of more than 1,000 small business development center offices that provide training, research, and consulting services to existing and potential business owners. The SBTDC network is the largest small business assistance program in the United States. The Henderson State University Small Business Technology Development Center operates as a regional office of the ASBTDC.
The ASBTDC is a university-based economic development program which provides assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Arkansas via a statewide network of seven offices. As the state's premier business assistance program, the ASBTDC is dedicated to helping small businesses achieve success and to promoting economic development throughout the state.
The ASBTDC serves all of Arkansas through UALR's Little Rock-based lead center and six regional offices.
To locate other centers within the state visit our lead center http://asbtdc.ualr.edu/ or find other SBTDC's throughout the U.S. visit the Small Business Administration.
The ASBTDC is not a funding source for small business in Arkansas; however, through our training, research, and consulting services we can help identify financial sources and strategies to obtain financing. The rapid and vigorous growth of business in Arkansas creates new and exciting opportunities for persons considering or actually engaged in operating a small business in our area.
The HSU SBTDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U. S. Small Business Administration through a partnership with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Henderson State University School of Business.
