Henderson State University allows individuals who teach Henderson Seminar Courses, Honors College Courses and some Adjunct Courses taught in an overload status, the option of receiving the stipend as salary, supplies and services or travel. The salary option is not available to 12 month employees. Only 9 month faculty may take their stipends as salary.
All stipends received as supplies and services or travel, are set up in an account that must be expended by June 30th of each year. Any unused funds are forfeited at the end of the year.
If equipment is purchased with any funds from the accounts established, the equipment is the property of Henderson State University. This equipment is not personally owned and cannot be taken with an individual who leaves the University.
