Welcome back!  What's new?  Several things have been added to the Administrative Guide.  Do you know what 092S means?  To find out, click on "Term Codes Defined" in the left-hand side-bar of this page.  Are you a new Adjunct Instructor for Teachers College, Henderson?  If so, you should review the "Adjunct Faculty Guide for Teachers College, Henderson".  The official Holiday Schedule for the University has also been added.

What is the Administrative Guide?  It is a volume of documents, policies and procedures, organizational charts, forms, and miscellaneous information we need to conduct business on our campus.  Who is on our Board of Trustees?  What is our Inclement Weather Policy?  How do new employees get e-mail accounts?  Do we have a Tobacco Free Stadium policy?  All this and more is in the Administrative Guide.

Most all of you have a “book” at your desk or in your department that contains valuable information and instructions on how you do things.  At times I have asked you for copies (paper or electronic) of these artifacts and I have said “someday, I’ll have the opportunity to add this information to something bigger”.  That someday is here.  Is there a topic or subject that you would like to see added to the Administrative Guide?  Please e-mail me your suggestions and items that are to be included.  The Administrative Guide is responsive to change, please don't hold back!

The Administrative Guide will consist of a table-of-contents web page.  Artifacts will be listed in alphabetical order.  The individual artifacts will actually be links that point to information that is already on your web pages (we do not wish to recreate the wheel in this endeavor).

The Administrative Guide will be a work in progress, please check back often and watch it grow.
