Accounting (B.B.A.)

 If you communicate better through numbers than with words and have always believed the business world is where you belong, a degree in accounting is right for you! You will gain the knowledge of accounting principles that will earn you the means to be successful and accomplish great things in the business world.

The Program

We focus on providing the skills and techniques needed to qualify for accounting positions in business, government, and public accounting. You’ll also gain a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices in order to use accounting information effectively in the decision-making process. With the innovative technology we have, our accounting program effectively links business with technology, which will give you the upper-hand when competing for positions on the job market.

You will develop additional skills, kowledge, and the upward career mobility necessary for advancement in your career through our "Business Beyond the Classroom" program, the Mentorship Experience program, and participation in our Student-Managed Investment Fund.  These and many other opportunities to develop your professionalism in our school of business will set you apart as a polished graduate and desirable employee.

The Faculty

All our accounting professors are CPA's, and most have terminal degrees.  Our professors are dedicated professionals committed to providing not only information about today's accounting trends and processes, but the tools you will need to stay current in this dynamic profession throughout your career  Our faculty combines technology and technique to give you the skills you need to excel in the accounting field. Our small class sizes make getting to know your professors easy. Plus, you’ll get expert guidance and the tools you need you to succeed in a global technological environment.
