Hospitality Management

In concert with regional business and industry partners, Henderson State University has introduced three degrees in hospitality. These three new concentrations will produce graduates who have an understanding of the hospitality industry and will be valuable employees within the industry. 

Concentration areas

Bachelor of Business Administration, Hospitality Management

Hospitality management students are well prepared for their futures through course work and hands-on experiences geared towards current hospitality industry employer needs as well as evolving approaches to serving regional economic development through tourism and recreation businesses. Graduates of this program will have a solid foundation in basic business management, effective communication skills and a solid understanding of practice in applying their knowledge in a range of hospitality management contexts.

Bachelor of Science, Hospitality Food Services

Hospitality Food Service graduates are diverse, competent professionals who obtain employment in food service management or related fields. 

Bachelor of Science, Hospitality Tourism and Event Planning

The Hospitality Tourism and Event Planning program will provide students with a strong foundation of business and life skills that are in high demand with future employers.
