Steps to Apply 

1. Apply to the graduate school and submit the MSN application for admission to Henderson State University. You must complete both to successfully complete your application.

3. FNP only: Fill out and submit the Work Verification Form.

4. Contact Graduate Nursing Student Advisor for degree plan of study. 


Family Nurse Practitioner
45 hours
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, 2000+ worked RN hours and unencumbered RN license;
online classes with two campus visits for orientation meeting and skills demonstrations

Nurse Administrator
33 hours
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and unencumbered license; online classes with an
orientation meeting on campus

Nursing Education (certificate)
12 hours
Requirements: Master’s degree in nursing or currently enrolled in the MSN program
