Mathematics and Statistics

The mathematician Carl Gauss referred to mathematics as "the Queen of the Sciences." Some people believe mathematics is just algebra or graphing functions, but it is much more! It is the study of numbers and their operations, interrelations, combinations, generalizations and abstractions, and of space configurations and their structure, measurement, transformations, and generalizations.

The mathematics program at Henderson is not only about crunching numbers; it is about giving you the opportunity to explore the theory behind them. We offer an innovative selection of classes that will enhance your critical thinking skills.
