The following Teacher Education Program requirements meet the licensure standards as mandated by the Arkansas Department of Education for initial licensure. Students should work closely with their assigned advisors to ensure that they are following the appropriate program of study expected for the teacher licenses they expect to earn. All teacher education candidates must complete the 29 hours Principles of Learning and Teaching core or its equivalency. This core consists of three specified modules and internship. It is strongly recommended that students concurrently enroll in the courses designated in each module. Modules should be taken in their designated sequence:
