Health and Human Performance

The undergraduate major in Health and Human Performance (HHP) at Henderson State University is a general pre-professional curriculum that prepares students for health related graduate programs. HHP majors can choose to focus their coursework within one of the following curriculum options:

  • Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy
  • Strength and Conditioning 

Within these options, students will be able to pursue post-graduate professional schools in these areas.

The Health and Human Performance graduates have a very important role to play in the future of the health of our nation and the world. Health and Human Performance (HHP) is programmatically housed within the Health, Physical Education and Recreation  Department.

  • Exercise Physiology
  • Rehabilitation and Therapy Exercise
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Pharmacology in Athletic Training
