Blackstone: Blackstone’s Summer Program is a unique experience among financial firms, enabling participants to develop well-rounded and fine-tuned business minds. Due to the relatively small size of Blackstone groups, Summer Analysts and Associates are integral to all aspects of deals, transactions, and projects throughout the course of the summer. The summer program is typically 10-12 weeks in duration.

Bloomberg LP: Bloomberg L.P. provides financial software tools such as an analytics and equity trading platform, data services, and news to financial companies and organizations. North American internships fall into seven categories: Corporate Functions, Financial Products, Industry Verticals, Global Data, News, Research, and Technology. 

Boeing: The Boeing Engineering Intern Program is an opportunity for students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, consolidated bachelor’s/master’s degree program, or master’s degree program. You must be available to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks (12 weeks preferred) and must apply online during the fall semester prior to the start of the summer internship program.

Burlington Stores:  Burlington is an American national off price department store retailer. The Corporate Internship Program provides a meaningful experience that often leads to a full-time job upon graduation. This 12-week program simulates a client engagement where one can achieve a full understanding of the consulting experience while solving relevant client problems.

CBS News: This is an educational program designed for college students who are interested in pursuing a career in journalism, broadcasting or production. Each student is selected and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Locations are New York or Washington DC. 

CEB:  CEB (now Gartner) is a global best practice insights and technology company that provides products and services to businesses worldwide. The10-week paid internship (available in Washington, DC, Chicago, and London) is open to university undergraduates who have completed their junior year. Job categories include: Advisory and Research Analysts, Member Support Representatives, Commercial Coordinators, Account Management Associates, Business Development Associates.

CH2M: CH2M is a global engineering company that provides consulting, design, construction, and operations services for corporations, and federal, state, and local governments.CH2M works closely with the National Society of Black Engineers, a student-governed organization dedicated to increasing the number of black engineers. 

Charles Schwab: Charles Schwab Corporation is a bank and brokerage firm that offers a 9-week summer intern academy. 

CiscoCisco Systems designs, makes and sells internet protocol-based networking products, as well as other products used in the communications and IT industry. Duration is 12 weeks. 

Coca ColaThe Coca-Cola Company boasts the most recognized beverage in the world. Interns work in various departments, including marketing, IT, finance and supply chain. 

Comcast NBCUniversal: Comcast Corporation is an American global telecommunications conglomerate that is the largest broadcasting and cable television company in the world by revenue. The internship is an 11-week summer program in the areas of Business Services, Data and Business Analytics, and Management and Business Operations. 

ConAgra Foods: ConAgra Foods is one of North America's largest packaged food companies as well as a Fortune 500 company. Cornerstone Research: Cornerstone Research is an economic and financial consulting firm providing analysis and expert testimony in all phases of commercial litigation and regulatory proceedings. Cornerstone Research hires a small number of summer analysts for ten to twelve weeks, generally during the year prior to graduation. The summer analyst role and qualifications closely mirror those of the analyst position. They encourage candidates to apply who have strong analytical backgrounds, computer skills, and interest in business and economics. 

Crowe: Crowe Horwath is a public accounting, consulting, and technology firm with offices across the globe. The internship is a 10 to 14-week program. 

CSRA: CSRA Inc. provides information technology services to U.S. government clients in national security, civil government, and health care and public health. The internship is a 10-week program. 

CVS Health: CVS Health is an American retail pharmacy and health care company Job categories include Corporate, Retail Pharmacy, and Retail Store Leadership. Internships are paid, full-time for 10 weeks. 


DellDell is one of the largest providers of PCs, laptops and servers in the world.

Deloitte Consulting LLP: Deloitte provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services with more than 244,400 professionals globally. Internships with Deloitte take many forms but typically take place in summer and last eight to ten weeks. The Summer Scholar program is for undergraduate students, and the Summer Associate program is for advanced degree students. They employ interns at the majority of their 100 offices across the United States and in India. Internships are generally 8-10 weeks in length (varies by location and business). Interns are paid competitive wages and they receive paid holidays.

Discover Financial Services: Discover Financial Services is a direct banking and payment services company with one of the most recognized brands in U.S. financial services. Internships last 3 to 6 months. 

DISH: The Company provides satellite television, audio programming, and interactive television services to commercial and residential customers in the United States. They have a paid, 10-week internship in Denver, CO. DISH offers a partially subsidized, fully furnished housing option to all interns. The housing cost is deducted from your pay.

Dominion Enterprises: Dominion Enterprises is a media and information services company for the automotive and commercial vehicle, real estate, apartment rental and travel industries. It has Internet and printed media operations.  There are a mix of paid and non-paid requiring academic credit. The primary location is at the HQ in Norfolk VA (near VA Beach). However, they also have opportunities at many of the major region offices throughout the U.S. Apply in advance of the school term you would like to intern. Duration is 6 to 12 weeks. 


Edelman Public Relations: Edelman is a leading global communications marketing firm that partners with many of the world's largest and emerging businesses and organizations. Paid and unpaid trainee and intern positions are available in a number of departments and locations. Some responsibilities include media relations, website and press material development, video production, special event and press conference planning, internal strategy sessions and new business research. Elliott Davis Decosimo: As one of the largest Southeastern CPA firms, their offices are positioned for growth across the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Georgia. Programs range from 3 days to 7 weeks. 

Emma Bowen Foundation: The Emma L. Bowen Foundation for Minority Interests in Media is a non-profit organization with a mission to create career opportunities in the media industry for youth of color through a program that focuses on scholastic achievement, direct work experience and professional development. If selected, you will have the opportunity to work within the field of media, develop valuable skills, and network with industry professionals each summer through college. Not only will you earn a salary, but matching dollars will also be set aside to help pay for your college expenses. 

Entergy JumpStart Program: Entergy is an energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations in the Deep South of the United States. Job categories include: Civil Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, and Process Technology. 

Excella Consulting Extension Center Program: Located at Virginia Tech, the Excella Extension Center (XC) engages high-achieving technical students to provide remote software development and support to our client delivery teams in the Federal, commercial, and non-profit sectors. Our student team members work part-time under the direct supervision of our software development experts. Students work on client projects developing software and growing their skills in C#, .NET, Java, Python, and Ruby. Students also learn database skills, Agile software development practices, and test-driven development principles.

Exelon: Exelon hires approximately 400 professional interns each summer across our seven businesses to participate in a 10-week program. Project-based intern programs emphasizes academic learning, skill development, career developing, and peer networking. Interns are paid between $15-25/hr. depending on their discipline and year in school, and they are eligible for a $200/week housing stipend if their permanent address is more than 50 miles from their work location. Program tracks include Engineering, Finance, IT, Commercial, and MBA. Positions are located in a number of plant and office locations across the Mid-west and Mid-Atlantic.

Ford: One of the largest U.S. automakers. Garmin International: Garmin is a worldwide provider of navigation products. They have interns in many of our departments, including the majority in Engineering (software/hardware/mechanical), IT, Operations, and Marketing, etc. Most of our internships are located at our world headquarters in Olathe, Kan., (Kansas City area) and last a minimum of 10 weeks in the summer. There are also a few offsite locations that offer internships.

Houlihan Lokey: Houlihan Lokey is an international investment bank with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, valuation, financial restructuring, and strategic consulting. The internship program is 10 weeks long.
