Alumni Chapters

HSU Alumnus Kevin Rodgers

Alumni chapters promote, through cooperation with the Henderson State Alumni Association (HSAA), the advancement of Henderson State, provide opportunities for closer fellowship among Reddies, assist in the recruitment of outstanding students for Henderson State, and enhance the stature of Henderson State University in local areas.  Alumni chapters observe an established set of by-laws, elect officers, and hold regular meetings. Examples of gatherings hosted by alumni chapters include attending sports and cultural events, reunions, and golf tournaments.

Start a Chapter

We invite you to engage with Reddies by forming an HSAA alumni chapter. For more information about how to start a chapter near you or with a group of alumni who share your interests, please review the chapter resources.

Alumni chapters can be formed in two ways:

1) A group of Henderson State alumni take the initiative.

2) Based on current societal trends, the HSAA takes the initial steps to form a group and seeks out alumni as volunteers.

HSAA alumni chapters can be organized by:

1) Geographic Area (Gurdon, Central Arkansas, Dallas, etc.)

2) Affinity Group (Fraternity or Sorority, Showband, African-American, Football, etc.)

3) Academic Program or Interest (Chemistry, Theatre, School of Business, Teachers, etc.)
