Requirements for a Minor in Engineering

Engineering students acquire technology-based, problem solving skills in a traditional liberal arts context with an emphasis on project design and completion.  Following graduation, students employ their skills in a wide range of technical careers, such as electrical engineering, computer-technology, research, and aerospace.

A minor in engineering requires the following courses:

PHY 2234 University Physics I
PHY 2244 University Physics II
EGR 1413 Engineering Graphics
EGR 2033 Mechanics of Materials
EGR 2363 Statics
EGR 3043 Engineering Thermodynamics I

In addition, one of the following must be chosen:

EGR 2464 Electric Circuits I
EGR 3134 Electronics I
EGR 3434 Digital Electronics
